The O.T.E.K operate two Schools of Tour Guides in Athens and Thessaloniki.
Schools of
Tour Guides are also established and may operate in Heraklio, Corfu, Mytilini
and Rhodes, according to the needs of the local tourist market. |

Entry requirements:
Students are admitted through entrance examinations. Prospective applicants must be Greek nationals or subjects of countries – members of the E. U. or foreigners of Greek origin). They must have completed the secondary education.
Foreign candidates must have proficiency in Greek language.
The University of Athens provides Greek language courses for foreign students. For move information please write to: Foreign Language Center, University Club, 15 Ippokratous Str, Athens.
Candidates must
take entrance examinations on the following subjects:

Successful candidates have an interview, through which the general Knowledge and competence, in relation to the qualifications required for the Tour Guide profession are assessed.
Attendance :
The duration of studies is 2,5 years. Course attendance is compulsory. The education program consists of theoretical classes and educational visits and trips.
